On the 19th of August we held a training session to help the children complete the Child Right Audit. We had 22 boys and 21 girls attending from 19 areas, all of whom were from the Balsena Council. The objective of this training was to allow the children to produce individual reports for the different areas of Bhavnagar.
When the children have finished these individual reports, they will make a summary of the main findings for each area. They will then go to these areas in teams and arrange meetings with local leaders and community members to discuss the issues that they found and ways to solve them. We want to make sure that the Child Right Audit reaches the communities it describes and the Balsena children will, as always, be a huge part of this.
