Right to Education Act Street Drama

This week some of the Shaishav team have been visiting pocket areas within Kumbharwada slum to perform street drama aimed at educating people about the rights they have been granted under the Right to Education Act 2009, and why it is important. Every evening we take the Shaishav bus and drive to one of our target areas. To get a crowd together we simply start making some noise, singing some songs and so on, and pretty soon we have ourselves a fairly large audience! The drama focuses on explaining to people why common arguments against education are invalid, and how children can demand that this right be granted to them.
