Alternative Report for CRC Gujarat

The Alternative Report was organised by Shaishav and prepared completely by children. Its aim is to highlight the current situation of Child Rights in Gujarat from a children’s perspective. It was submitted to the United Nations alongside the National Government report on its implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child (UNCRC). There are also links to the Forward and Summary.

Scope of Child Participation within the National Plan of Action for Children 2005 in India

A report written by Shaishav Director, Parul Sheth, as a part of her Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship. The report discusses how much opportunity is given for children’s participation within NPAC, the main document outlining the Indian Governments commitments towards children’s rights.
